A typical entry point for a FedWiki is a URL like:
http://tim.au.fedwikihappening.net/view/welcome-visitors/view/recent-changes
Recent Changes has a single URL but it's content & functionality changes depending on how much the of the network you've touched. If it's the first page you've visited since signing in then the list is quite small limited to pages on your site & those that have been forked).
To expand the scope and see a neighbourhood view of the recent changes you have to click on Happening Folks to load that page into the lineup, and then go back to Recent Changes again. Now the page is richer but the URL is the same!
This feels deeply wrong. The URL now refers to a different resource. Shouldn't it be a different URL? Or should this feature be an actionable feature on the page?
Idempotence: wikipedia
It might help to consider that the page can be more than itself by how wiki makes it also include the connections the residing Federated Wiki Neighborhood provides.
